Built From Lived Experience
Crossover was founded by Alfie Egan, a former professional footballer who came through the ranks at AFC Wimbledon and played for clubs across the English leagues. Like so many athletes, Alfie dedicated his life to sport — but when it was time to move on, the path forward wasn’t clear.
With support and guidance from his cousin Joe Bateman, a seasoned recruitment professional, Alfie found success off the pitch in the world of sales and talent. Together, they saw something bigger: a gap in support for athletes navigating life after sport, and a huge opportunity for businesses to benefit from people shaped by high-performance environments.
That idea became Crossover Partners — a platform to guide athletes through the next stage of their careers and connect businesses with exceptional talent.
